Job summary

Light & Wonder is seeking a design-focused game software engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality game products. You will architect and implement critical components while collaborating with a team of engineers and mentors.

You will apply C# and TypeScript skills within Unity or Godot environments, contributing across the full SDLC and supporting automated build and test processes in a fast-paced gaming studio in Sydney.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science, preferably BSEE, BSCE, BSEET, or BSCS, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in C# and TypeScript with strong game development background.
• Experience with Unity or Godot and a full SDLC background.
• 5+ years in a software development team and 4+ years in gaming development.

It also includes hands-on development and design activities. The role is responsible for architecting and implementing critical software components and games. It requires working closely with other engineers to provide guidance and support on software architecture.
