Job summary

Fivecast is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work with the engineering team to design, implement, test, and deploy scalable web-based software addressing end-user needs.

You will contribute to data storage models, AI-enabled features, and cloud deployments on AWS, using React/Angular for front-end and Spring for back-end, while mentoring juniors and ensuring timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Australian citizenship required due to eligibility for NV1 defence clearance for the role.
• Bachelor’s Degree in systems or software engineering/ computer science or related degrees.
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in software engineering / technology development.
• Demonstrated interest in AI technologies, with experience using, experimenting with, or building AI-enabled solutions in a professional, academic, or personal capacity.
• Highly organised, problem solver with the ability to get things done.
• Excellent, collaborative team player and able to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills, including UML.
• Experience with key technology areas including software engineering, data storage, web technologies.
