Job summary

Calleo Australia in Canberra is seeking a Senior SOE Systems Engineer to join our federal government client on a long-term contract. You will implement, manage and retire ICT infrastructure, design and automate SOE, integrate identity and access controls, and ensure security and governance across the environment.

You will collaborate with business users and system administrators to diagnose issues and deliver reliable digital services.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing, managing and retiring ICT infrastructure for digital services.
• Ability to work with business users and system administrators to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Ensure adherence to governance, security and compliance within ICT environments.
• Produce system design, implementation documentation, and relevant procedures and policies.

Client

One of our federal government clients are looking for an experienced Senior SOE Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team.

Role

Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business users and system administrators to improve and optimise the implementation, use and management of ICT and business solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to diagnose and resolve operational and technical issues.
• Actively engage with team members to leverage solution expertise and contribute to the growth of the organisation's knowledge base.
• Participate in software configuration planning and management activities.
• Proactively identify and communicate any design, build, testing, quality, risk, assumption, or dependency issues to management.
• Produce system design, implementation documentation, and relevant procedures and policies.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable compliance, governance, and security requirements within the ICT environment.
