Zusammenfassung

NSW Health is seeking a Senior Social Worker for the NSW CICADA Centre in Randwick. The role focuses on delivering high‑level clinical services to children, adolescents and families affected by drugs and alcohol with a strong emphasis on family therapy and psychosocial support.

The position involves multidisciplinary collaboration, complex case management, and liaison with clinical teams to coordinate care and support services, including NDIS pathways.

Qualifikationen

• Recognised degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the AASW.
• Extensive post graduate experience working with children, adolescents and families is desired.

Aufgaben

• High level clinical services to children, adolescents, parents and carers who present to the SCHN CICADA Center (FASD, Family or Adolescent service).
• Liaison with referring clinicians, family members, health professionals, education and disability services to ensure effective collaboration between clinicians for the care and overall wellbeing of children and adolescents presenting to CICADA services.
• Support to parents and/or caregivers to vulnerable families where domestic violence and child protection matters are identified.
• Individual and family-based therapies according to the needs identified.
• Complex case management in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Support the multidisciplinary team to ensure appropriate referral pathways for NDIS co-ordination
• Psychoeducation, support and family therapy for adolescents using substances, or children and adolescents affected by alcohol or other substance use within the family.
