Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Social Work Team Leader Senior Clinician at Ryde Hospital. You will lead high-level Social Work services, support carers and families, and participate in an after-hours crisis roster to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

You will liaise with health professionals and external providers, and contribute to teaching and supervising students and junior staff within Graythwaite Rehabilitation Centre.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or postgraduate degree in Social Work and eligibility for AASW.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement activities or service evaluation.
• Experience in clinical teaching and supervision of students and allied health staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level Social Work service to consumers, carers and families to ensure optimal health outcomes.
• Participation in an after-hours crisis roster may be required.
• Demonstrate proficient written, verbal and interpersonal communication and liaise with health professionals and external providers.
• Work at Graythwaite Rehabilitation Centre, Ryde Hospital as part of a redeveloped hospital precinct.
