News Corp Australia Sydney invites a Social Lead to join Medium Rare Content Agency as a senior strategic voice for social and influencer strategy within the Strategy Centre of Excellence. You will drive best-in-class social strategies, plans and creative ideas, collaborating with Heads of Strategy and content teams to elevate client work.

You will be responsible for developing data-driven social insights, guiding social production, and supporting client teams with expertise.

Qualifications

• You are a seasoned social strategist with proven experience in social media management, strategy development, channel management and influencer management.
• You have in-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends and analytic tools, and know how to shape content and ideas for specific channels and audiences.
• You're comfortable working with clients and stakeholders at all levels, and bring excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across agencies and teams to deliver data-driven social strategies and influencer plans
• Ensure social strategies and influencer plans align with client objectives and budgets
• Identify growth opportunities in social and influencer work for retainer clients and develop proactive pitches
• Provide current, strategically sound social insights and guidance to clients for business development and retention
• Support strategy leads to keep social teams updated on knowledge and insights
• Lead and support social media and influencer campaign responses from ideation to production
• Lead RFPs and new business proposals for social and influencer work
• Support the strategy and execution of Medium Rare's owned channels
• Build strong relationships with clients and present ideas and trends engagingly
• Establish, drive and adhere to social/influencer processes and MRCA policies
