The Role

We are currently seeking a Senior SMSF Accountant to join a well-established Public Practice Firm. In this role, you will take ownership of a quality portfolio of SMSFs, handle end-to-end compliance, and liaise directly with clients and auditors. This is a great opportunity for a confident, technically strong accountant looking to step into a more autonomous and trusted role within a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation for SMSF clients
End-to-end management of SMSF accounting and compliance matters
Liaising with external auditors and acting as the primary point of contact for SMSF clients
Staying up to date with superannuation legislation and compliance changes
Assisting with process improvements and mentoring junior team members (if desired)
Working with Class, BGL360, or similar SMSF platforms
