A leading private wealth firm in Australia is seeking an experienced SMSF Manager to oversee self-managed super funds and ensure compliance with SMSF legislation. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of SMSF experience, strong mentoring capabilities, and be aligned with a values-driven culture. Qualifications

• 3+ years’ SMSF experience with a broad Finance background.
• Experience managing SMSF financials & returns.
• Background in specialist SMSF, private wealth, or boutique accounting environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of self-managed super funds end-to-end.
• Prepare and review SMSF financial statements and tax returns.
• Provide technical SMSF support and guidance.

We are excited to partner exclusively with a highly respected private wealth firm to appoint an experienced SMSF Manager to join their specialist superannuation team.

This opportunity suits a motivated and technically strong SMSF professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality advisory and compliance outcomes for clients.

About the Role

• Manage a portfolio of self-managed super funds end-to-end
• Prepare and review SMSF financial statements, tax returns & annual compliance
• Provide technical SMSF support and guidance
• Mentor and review junior team members
• Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies
• Stay across legislative changes and contribute to technical improvement
• Work closely with Partners, advisers, and a high-performing SMSF team

What You Bring

• 3+ years’ SMSF experience with a broad Finance background
• Strong knowledge of SMSF legislation, accounting & compliance
• Experience managing / reviewing SMSF financials & returns
• Experience mentoring junior team members (highly regarded)
• CA/CPA qualified or near completion
• Experience with Class, BGL or similar SMSF software

A background in specialist SMSF, private wealth, or boutique accounting environments will be highly regarded but no essential.
