Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Site Senior QA/QC Inspector to support major EPC/EPCM projects within the minerals processing sector. This role ensures construction and fabrication activities meet project quality requirements, codes and QA/QC processes while upholding safety and compliance.

You will conduct QA/QC inspections on site, audit quality systems, review documentation, and monitor welding and fabrication activities, with a focus on non-conformances and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in QA/QC on EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong QA/QC process knowledge and quality management.
• Experience with welding standards and ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

About the role

TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Site Senior QA/QC Inspector to support major EPC/EPCM projects within the minerals processing sector. This role is responsible for ensuring all construction and fabrication activities meet project quality requirements, applicable codes and standards, and established QA/QC processes while maintaining the highest levels of safety and compliance.

Duties and responsibilities

• Conduct QA/QC inspections across construction and fabrication activities.
• Perform audits to verify compliance with quality management systems.
• Review and maintain quality documentation, records, and reports.
• Ensure work complies with Australian and international codes and standards.
• Monitor welding, fabrication, and inspection activities on site.
• Support project teams with quality planning and issue resolution.
• Manage non-conformances and assist with corrective action implementation.

Skills and experience required

• Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar QA/QC role on EPC/EPCM projects.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes, systems, and quality management.
• Sound knowledge of welding standards, ASME requirements, and ISO 9001.
• Experience in minerals processing, fabrication, and construction environments.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office and engineering systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, auditing skills, time management, and prioritisation abilities.
