Job summary

Cole Design and Construction Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our Melbourne team on the East side. This full-time role oversees all site operations, enforces safety protocols, and maintains clear communications with clients, architects and engineers to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in site supervision, strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and software, plus a diploma in Construction Management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in site management or similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods and safety regulations.
• Ability to read architectural/engineering drawings and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations and coordinate activities to meet schedules.
• Manage site personnel, subcontractors, and trades safely.
• Enforce health and safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks against specifications.
• Monitor project costs and identify efficiency improvements.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and stakeholders.
• Maintain site documentation and progress reports.
• Address site issues promptly and manage material orders.
• Report progress to senior management and attend meetings.
