Job summary

CAE is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the Maintenance Services team across sites, ensuring delivery of maintenance and supply support for training devices within time, cost and quality constraints.

You will oversee simulator technicians, manage rosters and development, and align with regulatory requirements while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency. This role is based on-site in Bankstown and requires an Australian Defence Security Clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a team.
• Experience in a technician or maintenance related role.
• Ideally hold experience within the aviation and/or defence industries.
• Ability to obtain/maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance – must be an AU Citizen!
• Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in Bankstown, either between 9am-5pm or cover shift hours as required

Responsibilities

• Drive and improve maintenance efficiency
• Ensure CAE meets its contracted obligations relating to customer training success
• Ensure staffing and training of all required personnel is achieved
• Lead by example, displaying exemplary leadership to the team, stakeholders and employees
• Promote and execute CAE’s Quality Management System
• Deploy and continuously improve all appropriate processes, procedures and work instructions
• Deliver inputs to budget and forecasting
• Promote and execute CAE’s Environment, Health & Safety Management System
