Job summary

Advance Thinking is seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join a newly formed delivery team for a key client in the utilities sector. The 5-month contract involves hands-on development, platform governance, and smoothing a transition into a permanent internal role with the client.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, IRM, and CSDM, delivering best-practice ServiceNow solutions and upskilling the client’s internal team for long-term success.

Qualifications

• Experience as a ServiceNow Developer in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on development and configuration across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, IRM, and Integrations.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile/Lean delivery.
• Ability to formulate technical options and guide stakeholders.
• Capable of creating clear technical documentation and upskilling others.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and maintain the ServiceNow platform across ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and IRM.
• Provide technical guidance from scoping to deployment of ServiceNow projects.
• Implement and govern the CSDM framework across models.
• Build enterprise integrations and automations using Integration Hub and APIs.
• Drive process improvements to maximise system efficiency and user experience.
• Provide operational support, manage updates, monitor queues, and maintain security.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into ServiceNow solutions.
• Create high-quality technical documentation and upskill internal teams.
