Job summary

Rest is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, configure and support the ServiceNow platform, partnering with stakeholders and end users to translate needs into scalable solutions. This role drives platform excellence while delivering meaningful outcomes for millions of Australians.

You’ll influence standards, implement secure architectures, and collaborate across product, business and technology teams to deliver reliable and measurable results.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting (server and client).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integrations.
• Experience configuring ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, BCM, APO, ITOM.
• Knowledge of data modelling, CMDB, and configuration management principles.

Join us as a Senior ServiceNow Developer, where you’ll be responsible for the design, development, configuration, and ongoing support of the ServiceNow platform. This role works closely with platform stakeholders, process owners, and business users to understand requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and maintainable technical solutions within the ServiceNow ecosystem. In this role, you’ll:

Qualifications

Must haves:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• Servicenow Certified Implementation Specialist - GRC IRM and / or HSRD or SAM/HAM
• Additional certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer, CIS ITSM, CIS TPRM, CIS BCM)

Required experience, understanding or credentials including:

• Demonstrated hands‑on experience developing on the ServiceNow platform.
• Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow scripting (server and client side).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and third‑party integrations.
• Experience in configuring ServiceNow modules such as (ITSM, HRSD, BCM, APO, ITOM etc.).
• Knowledge of data modelling, CMDB, and configuration management principles.
