Transport for NSW is seeking a Principal Service Planner for a fixed-term role in Milsons Point, NSW. You will contribute to integrated public transport service and network planning, leading projects from analysis to delivery and engaging with operators, local government and communities to balance needs.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, strategic planning and strong stakeholder communication, with a hybrid work arrangement and a focus on community impact across NSW.

Competenze

• Analytical and strategic thinker with experience in public transport service planning, network planning, timetable development or related transport planning discipline.
• Strong ability to lead projects and proposals from concept to delivery and to influence stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Work as part of the Service Planning team delivering integrated public transport service and network planning to improve access across NSW.
• Lead service planning projects and proposals for Regional and Outer Metropolitan NSW, from analysis and options development through to business cases and delivery.
• Engage with operators, local government, other agencies and communities to balance needs and build support for service changes.
• Draw on research, data and strategic analysis to develop bus service plans and practical network solutions that improve customer outcomes and support future growth.
• Fixed-term opportunity until 8 November 2027 with flexible hybrid working, planning workshops, training and team activities.
• You’ll lead projects and proposals from concept to delivery and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, communicating to turn data into practical outcomes.
