Senior Sergeant – Port Macquarie and Taree, NSW Sheriff's Office, is an ongoing full-time leadership role within the Department of Communities and Justice. You will supervise a small team, allocate resources for court operations, and deliver high-quality services to court users including judicial officers and jurors.

Requirements include a NSW driver’s licence, First Aid certificate, completion of Sheriff’s Officer Recruit Training, and a Certificate III in Government (with a plan to complete a

• Certificate III in Government (must be completed within 12 months).
• Willingness to obtain Certificate IV in Leadership and Management upon commencement.
• Current NSW driver’s licence (provisional P2 minimum).
• Current First Aid certificate and fitness for duty as per agency standards.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise, mentor and support team members to meet operational needs.
• Allocate resources to ensure efficient court operations and security.
• Undertake law enforcement duties in line with policies and procedures.
• Maintain records and roster visibility for financial and operational guidelines.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to support other locations during shortages.
• Develop and implement work-practice improvements.
