Job summary

Xero seeks a SEM Senior Manager to shape and lead its global Paid Search program, combining hands-on SEM excellence with automation and AI to unlock scalable growth. You will partner with Data Science, Marketing Technology and Product to turn complex performance challenges into scalable solutions, while driving AI-powered workflows and automated bidding across markets.

Qualifications

Deep hands-on SEM expertise across large-scale, multi-market Paid Search
Proven ability to design and deploy automation to solve performance problems
Hands-on experience with AI and workflow orchestration tools (Tray.ai, AirOps, n8n, Make, Zapier, OpenAI, Claude)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions
Proactive, solutions-first mindset with willingness to mentor others

Responsibilities

Evolve the technical foundations of our global SEM program for scalability and automation
Build and operationalise AI-powered workflows for optimisation, analysis, reporting and processes
Advance AI-driven SEM capabilities including automated bidding with guardrails and measurement
Identify and deliver automation opportunities turning complex SEM tasks into reusable solutions
Collaborate with Data Science, Marketing Technology and Product to connect data and AI to SEM ecosystem
