Job summary

Lead Security Analyst position with a Federal Government client in Australia. This hands-on cyber security operations role analyses threats, monitors events, assesses vulnerabilities and strengthens controls protecting critical systems.

You will collaborate with technical teams and security leadership, and contribute to incident response procedures and security testing. You will work across security operations and engineering teams to ensure robust threat detection and rapid response aligned

Qualifications

• You've worked in a SOC as a Security Analyst.
• You're an Australian citizen.
• You must hold a current security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform threat-driven analysis of system security
• Analyse threat intelligence for system-specific threats
• Monitor security events and information for security incidents
• Develop and use incident response plans and playbooks
• Analyse security vulnerabilities and propose solutions
• Review existing security controls for vulnerabilities
• Develop procedures for monitoring and analysing security information and events
• Support security test and evaluation activities for systems and products
• Support technical leadership as required
