Lead Security Analyst Cyber Threat Analyst - National Security / Defence

Location: ACT or SA
Contract: 12 months, with 2 x 12-month extension options
Pay: $140-$170 p/h including super (negotiable)
Work type: Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
Work arrangement: Onsite, with specific arrangements agreed with your supervisor on a case-by-case basis
Clearance: Must hold a current security clearance

About the Role

Lead Security Analyst position available with our Federal Government client. This is hands‑on security operations work. You will analyse threats, monitor security events, assess vulnerabilities and strengthen security controls protecting important systems.

You will work closely with technical teams and security leadership. The role also develops incident response procedures and supports security test and evaluation activities.
