Effective People has a Lead Security Analyst - Cyber Threat Analyst position for a Federal Government client in Australia. This hands-on security operations role involves analyzing threats, monitoring events, assessing vulnerabilities and strengthening controls protecting critical systems.

You will collaborate with technical teams and security leadership, developing incident response procedures and supporting security test and evaluation activities, with a requirement for a current security

Qualifications

• Must have worked in a SOC as a Security Analyst.
• Australian citizenship is required.
• Must hold a current security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform threat-driven analysis of system security
• Analyse threat intelligence for system-specific threats
• Monitor security events and information for security incidents
• Develop and use incident response plans and playbooks
• Analyse security vulnerabilities and propose solutions
• Review existing security controls for vulnerabilities
• Develop procedures for monitoring and analysing security information and events
• Support security test and evaluation activities for systems and products
• Support technical leadership as required
