Job summary

Ktronics is seeking a Senior Security Technician to service, maintain and install high-end security systems across residential and commercial sites in Greater Sydney. You will work with Paradox, Tecom, Integrity, Lenel and Genetec while leading apprentices and liaising with clients onsite.

The role requires a strong background in IP CCTV, driver’s license, and the ability to work independently within a team. Competitive salary based on experience and an immediate start are offered.

About the role

As the successful applicant, your duties as a Senior Security Technician will include but not be limited to:

• service & maintenance on high end residential & commercial electronic security systems incl. Paradox, Tecom, Integrity, Lenel & Genetec
• installation of cabling and cameras
• setting up/servicing/maintaining equipment
• supervising/training apprentice.
• liaising with onsite clients
• following work health and safety policies and procedures

About you

To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

• Full Australian working rights
• Min. 3 years experience working within the electronic security service industry or similar.
• High level of experience within the commercial sector
• Experience with inner range or challengersystems
• Experience with IP CCTV systems
• Current and valid driver, security & cabler's licenses
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Highly organised with a proactive approach
• Be a strong communicator and relationship builder
• Willingness to take on a leadership role

Desired Criteria:

• Experience with other security and CCTV systems (EG Lenel, Cardax, Milestone, Genetec, Axis, Mobotix etc)
• Experience in automation systems such as RTI or Crestron
• Experience Installing/Programming/Commissioning security systems
• Experience commissioning security systems
• Experience installing Intercom systems
• EWP ticket
• White Card
• Australian Government Department of Defence Baseline clearance

• Interstate travel available if wanted
