Job summary

Optus, an Australian telecommunications leader, seeks an Associate Director, Security Management to drive security outcomes for a major Federal Government account. You will shape security strategy, accreditation, risk management, incident response, and compliance, aligning with ISM/PSPF frameworks in a regulated environment.

Australian citizenship and NV1 security clearance eligibility/holding are required.

Qualifications

• Extensive IT security management experience in Australian Government environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISM and PSPF frameworks.
• Experience delivering security accreditation artefacts.
• Ability to engage with executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop security strategies aligned to the Australian Government ISM/PSPF.
• Identify, assess and manage security risks per regulations.
• Provide IT security advisory across projects and review artefacts.
• Act as trusted security advisor to the customer and executive leadership.
