Job summary

Optus is seeking a Senior Security Platform Engineer to lead configuration standards across our proxy, endpoint, and email threat prevention systems. Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on security platform engineering across gateway, endpoint protection, and email filtering.

Responsibilities

• Define configuration standards across network filtering, endpoint protection, and email security.
• Serve as platform engineering liaison at governance forums, translating decisions into engineering requirements.
• Define DLP enforcement requirements at proxy and email layers and ensure policy alignment.
• Own the MDM/MAM policy framework across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android with compliance baselines.
• Produce runbooks and platform docs for TI ops and ELT governance; maintain audit-ready records.
