Job summary

The Missing Link is a leading Australian IT security provider actively delivering Cyber Security, IT & Cloud, and Automation solutions. We are seeking experienced Security Consultants to join our growing team across Australia and India, capable of delivering a broad range of security engagements.

You will work autonomously within a collaborative, high-skill environment that values ongoing personal development, technical accreditation, and hands-on security testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a security consultant or penetration tester.
• Mandatory penetration testing certifications such as OSCP, OSCE or CREST.
• Current active security clearance (NV-1 or NV-2) desirable.
• Experience delivering at least 6 of the listed engagement types.
• Extensive knowledge of the IT security industry.
• Knowledge of consulting and security vendor offerings.
• Defence Force experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vulnerability assessments (Internal, External, Web Application, Database).
• Perform penetration testing (Internal, External, Web Application, Database, Mobile, Wireless).
• Carry out firewall and password audits.
• Execute SOE security assessments.
• Lead security risk (ISO27k) & Privacy Impact (APP) assessments.
• Run red team attack simulations.
• Discuss remediation recommendations with clients.
