Job summary

The Missing Link is seeking experienced Cyber Security Consultants to join our growing team across Australia. You will work with clients to identify, assess and reduce security risks through technical assessments, design solutions, architecture reviews and strategic initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in cyber security consulting or pentesting, strong communication skills, and a passion for continuous learning.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in cyber security consulting, penetration testing, security engineering or solution architecture.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience delivering security assessments, projects or consulting engagements.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Passion for security and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Security Assessments & Testing: vulnerabilities, red team, architecture reviews.
• Identity & Access Management: Okta solutions, SSO/MFA, governance.
• Client workshops, discovery sessions and solution demonstrations.
• Develop security roadmaps and remediation reports.
• Support pre-sales and solution design activities.
• Stay current with emerging threats and technologies.

The Role

We\'re looking for experienced Cyber Security Consultants to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for professionals with expertise in either offensive security and penetration testing, or Identity and Access Management with Okta.

You\'ll work closely with clients across a range of industries, helping them identify, assess and reduce security risks through technical assessments, solution design, architecture reviews and strategic security initiatives.

What You\'ll Be Doing

Depending on your experience, you may be involved in:

Security Assessments & Testing

• Vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Red team exercises and attack simulations
• Security architecture and configuration reviews
• Firewall, password and cloud security assessments
• Source code reviews and technical risk assessments

Identity & Access Management

• Designing and delivering Okta identity solutions
• Identity assessments and modernisation programs
• SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management and Governance initiatives
• Zero Trust, Privileged Access and Identity Threat Protection projects
• Client workshops, proof-of-concepts and solution demonstrations
• Leading customer workshops and discovery sessions
• Developing security strategies and roadmaps
• Producing technical reports and remediation recommendations
• Supporting pre-sales and solution design activities
• Staying current with emerging threats and technologies

What You\'ll Bring

• 3+ years\' experience in cyber security consulting, penetration testing, security engineering or solution architecture
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience delivering security assessments, projects or consulting engagements
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Passion for security and continuous learning

Required Certifications

• OSCP, OSCE, CREST or equivalent penetration testing certification
• OR, Okta Certified Professional and Okta Certified Administrator
• Okta Certified Consultant
• Auth0 Certification
• CyberArk, Delinea or BeyondTrust certifications
• Security clearance (NV1 or NV2)
