Shea Security in Melbourne is seeking a Cyber Security Consultant - Penetration Tester to perform hands-on assessments of client systems, applications and networks across various industries.

You will join a hybrid work culture, deliver professional reports, communicate findings via email and Slack, and contribute to the development of in-house research and education for developers.

The role offers ongoing training, a personal development plan and salary negotiated according to experience.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of HTTP protocols.
• Linux, Mac or Windows command line capable.
• Sound networking and cloud knowledge.
• Proven and demonstrable history of self study in hacking.
• Coding capability in one or more high level languages.
• Ability to write a web application without AI assistance.
• English skills sufficient to communicate clearly via written reports, email and over the phone.

This position has arisen in response to our growing list of clients and the increasing growth of the information security field.
