Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Sr Security Assurance Specialist Australia to lead audit and assurance programs across AWS in Australia. You will define, develop and execute long‑term security and compliance projects, coordinate with regulators and customers, and manage a team in market.

The role requires 5+ years in technology security audit and assurance, hands-on experience with IRAP, DISP, SOC, ISO27001 and related standards, and NV2 clearance or above.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in technology and security audit and assurance within regulated industries or providers to regulated industries.
• Experience delivering programs such as IRAP, DISP, SOC, ISO20000, ISMAP, ISO27001, etc.
• Australian Government NV2 Clearance or above

Responsibilities

• Serve as expert to AWS, customers, auditors, and regulators on regional and domestic regulations on security and resilience.
• Develop and execute long-term security and compliance projects for AWS and regulated customers.
• Track changes to security controls and requirements standards across the region.
• Prepare project plans and manage deliverables to completion.
• Support metrics and data collection for decision making.
