Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a GRC Specialist to support certification, accreditation, assurance and authorisation across the AWS security program. You will contribute to baselining security requirements, implementing PSPF/ISM/DSPF/NIST frameworks, and driving cross-functional initiatives to strengthen security posture across AWS.

Qualifications

7+ years experience in security assurance or related fields.
Experience with governance, risk and compliance programs involving regulatory bodies.
Proficiency with government security frameworks (PSPF, ISM, DSPF, ASD Essential Eight).
Experience with cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

Perform assurance and authorization activities to ensure adherence to standards and protocols.
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to establish baselines and security requirements, controls and objectives.
Implement ISM, PSPF, DSPF, ASIO T4, NIST and other security frameworks into design baselines.
Create, optimise, and support cross-functional groups to enhance security efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop thought leadership material on cloud security and emerging technologies.
