Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Sr Security Assurance Specialist to define and drive audit and assurance programs in Australia. You will lead teams, coordinate with customers, auditors, and regulators, and ensure compliance across diverse cloud services and markets.

You will balance audit rigor with practical security outcomes, shape long-term projects, and partner with internal divisions to demonstrate assurance for our customers while maintaining AWS's leadership in

Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in technology and security audit and assurance activities in regulated industries.
Experience delivering programs such as IRAP, DISP, SOC, ISO20000, ISMAP, ISO27001 etc
Australian Government NV2 Clearance or above

Responsibilities

Serve as an expert on regional and domestic security regulations for AWS and customers.
Anticipate laws impacting AWS and develop mitigation plans.
Develop and execute long-term security and compliance programs.
Innovate to improve customer experience of security assurance.
Conduct compliance impact and market assessments of emerging programs.
Create thought leadership on cloud security for regulators and teams.
Track changes to security controls and standards across the region.
Manage deadlines and drive for results with attention to detail.
Prepare project plans and track projects to completion.
