Job summary

Cleared is seeking a Senior Security Analyst in Canberra to join a specialist team supporting investigative authorities. The role focuses on reviewing electronic artefacts, analysing complex datasets, and delivering investigative outcomes while complying with policies and guidelines.

You will lead or support digital forensics and incident response investigations, use Nuix and Elasticsearch, manage large data sets, and contribute to process improvements through automation.

Qualifications

• Experience in data analysis and investigation support.
• Ability to interpret information to support decision-making.
• Experience handling sensitive evidentiary data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead digital forensics or IR investigations.
• Process evidentiary data using forensic tools.
• Prepare investigation findings and reports.
• Prepare large data sets for ingestion and search.
• Ensure evidentiary data integrity throughout processing.
• Apply advanced data analysis techniques using Nuix/Elasticsearch.
• Understand data-sharing laws and organisational guidelines.
• Identify process improvements via technology and automation.
• Support QA activities and workflow management.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews.
