Job summary

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese is seeking a Senior Education Officer - Secondary who provides advanced curriculum expertise, strategic leadership and operational guidance to support CSPD's learning and teaching priorities.

You will translate educational research into practice, lead system-wide initiatives and drive professional learning at scale to strengthen teacher and middle leadership capability across the diocese.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to Education Officers and school leaders, translating research into scalable CSPD frameworks and programs.
• Lead the design, delivery and evaluation of teaching and learning initiatives to build teacher and middle leadership capability across the diocese.
• Coordinate teacher professional development and curriculum initiatives with internal leaders and external partners.
• Represent the Learning Outcomes team in committees and cross-team collaboration across CSPD, schools and partners.
• Support planning, risk assessment and policy development to ensure consistency and quality across learning programs.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Manager, Learning Outcomes.
