Job summary
Consolidated Power Projects Australia (CPP) is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer - Secondary to lead and advance the NSW engineering team's secondary design capability. Based in NSW with flexible working options, you will stay hands-on while guiding technical outcomes, mentoring engineers and delivering complex substations and related HV projects.
You will shape best practices, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive leadership development within CPP's largest engineering group,
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in secondary design, protection, control and SCADA for HV systems.
- Previous leadership or mentoring of technical professionals.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Willingness to work from NSW office regularly.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across secondary design projects including substations, renewable energy infrastructure and BESS.
- Mentor engineers and graduates; support succession planning.
- Guide project delivery and ensure quality assurance across portfolios.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to shape best practice.
