Medowie Christian School (MCS) invites applications for a Senior Secondary Coordinator. This full-time role centers on leading culture and classrooms for Years 10–12 and includes a leadership allowance to support the position.

The successful applicant will teach Secondary classes within their key learning area and work closely with students, families and staff in a faith-based context. The role starts Term 1, 2027, and requires suitable teaching qualifications and registration with NESA.

About the role

An opportunity exists to join a fantastic, committed team, in teaching and supporting students within a Christian environment and biblical worldview. We are seeking a committed Christian educator with a heart for leadership and service to be a part of our Middle Leadership Team. The Senior Secondary Coordinator is responsible for leading the culture and classrooms from Year 10-12 and is a key leadership position within our school. Working alongside students and families supporting them as they progress from Secondary School into their next right step is critical. Establishing firm foundations within our learning community and preparing them for lives beyond the school gates. The position will include teaching of Secondary classes within the successful applicants key learning area as well as a leadership allowance to support you and the role.

This full time role is expected to start Term 1, 2027.

• You have suitable teaching qualifications and are registered with NESA
• You are enthusiastic and have excellent interpersonal skills
• You’re willing to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes in your pursuit of growth as a teacher
• You care deeply for your students and desire to see them grow mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually, as they develop the resilience and character needed for success beyond school
• You have a strong commitment to Christian schooling and are able to teach from a biblical worldview
• You have an active Christian faith and regularly attend church.
