CEM is wholeheartedly committed to excellence in education so that students are “well known, well loved, and well taught” by dedicated, trained, Christian staff. CEM is a growing network, with 14 schools in 5 states, and is also the largest non-government Distance Education provider in Australia. Medowie Christian School is a leading independent school serving the Port Stephens community. Our charter goes beyond producing great scholars; we aim to grow courageous and compassionate young men and women with truth and wisdom in Christ. In recent years we have embedded a strategic approach to teaching and learning. Our teaching team fully embraces our evidence-based teaching approach, welcomes regular feedback on their lessons, and engages positively in professional coaching. We are constantly looking to become better, not busy, and we are confident you will become a better teacher as a result of working with us.
