Job summary
Peoplebank is seeking a senior consultant to support the SD-WAN Migration Initiative. The role involves acting as an extension of the customer’s SD-WAN Engineering team, delivering implementation, migration and validation activities for legacy LAN core switches integrated with new SD-WAN edge infrastructure.

Qualifications
- Experience planning, designing and implementing complex enterprise networks.
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, MPLS, IP routing and VLANs.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale network transformation projects.
Responsibilities
- Support implementation activities for configuration changes on legacy LAN core switches, aligning with SD-WAN edge infrastructure.
- Review discovery data and analyse gaps or missing information necessary for successful deployment.
- Implement network configurations such as VRFs, VLANs, SVIs, trunk configurations, and security policies.
- Assist in migrating routing configurations, including BGP processes and peering relationships, ensuring network stability.
- Validate routing functionality, network reachability, and establishment of BGP adjacencies.
- Coordinate with the engineering team to execute approved migration, validation, and delivery activities in accordance with standard procedures.
