You will collaborate with science, engineering, controls and IT teams to build scalable software ecosystems that enable experiment control, data processing, visualization, and operational observability, delivering robust platforms for researchers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support software platforms, tools, and services for scientific operations across the Australian Synchrotron.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams spanning science, engineering, controls and IT to build scalable software ecosystems.
• Support experiment control and automation, data processing, visualization, and operational observability.
• Improve developer experience and modernise software delivery practices to enable robust platforms.
