Job summary

Macquarie College in Newcastle, NSW, is seeking a dedicated Senior School Mathematics Teacher for a term contract to cover Term 4, 2026. You will plan and deliver Stage 6 Mathematics, align learning with NESA requirements, and build students’ confidence and reasoning in mathematics.

The role requires current NESA accreditation, strong classroom practice, and a commitment to a Christian learning community with a focus on student safety and inclusive teaching.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching qualifications and current NESA accreditation.
• Sound knowledge of secondary Mathematics syllabuses, including Stage 6.
• Experience teaching Stage 6 Mathematics is desirable.
• Ability to differentiate teaching to support diverse learning needs.
• Strong commitment to child safety and safeguarding training.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver learning aligned with NESA requirements.
