Job summary

Schneider Electric in Sydney is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the design, configuration, testing and delivery of SCADA and metering systems for electrical power applications within the Digital Power Application Centre.

You will own technical delivery across the full project lifecycle, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet technical, quality and customer requirements while driving cybersecurity and digital power innovations.

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering and relevant trade background.
5+ years’ experience delivering SCADA/power automation projects.
Design, commission, and testing of SCADA/metring systems and databases.
Hands-on experience with EcoStruxure Power Operation, EPAS or similar.

Responsibilities

Lead technical execution across projects with multidisciplinary teams.
Design, configure, test, and deliver SCADA and metering systems.
Own lifecycle delivery: documentation, hardware/software selection, validation, FAT/SAT, commissioning.
Support planners with budgeting, reporting, and delivery within constraints.
Ensure customer commitments on lead times, delivery, reliability and quality.
Advance cybersecurity, microgrids and virtualization initiatives.
