Job summary

Viasat is seeking a Solutions Architect within the International Government Global engineering team in Australia. You will design and deliver satellite networking solutions for bids, tenders, and commercial proposals, overseeing requirements and dependencies of allocated tasks.

You will create technical content for RFI/RFT responses and provide guidance to less experienced engineers. The role requires a strong background in satellite systems design, collaboration across teams, and the ability to

Qualifications

• Must hold a relevant engineering degree with satellite comms experience.
• Experience developing solutions in a pre-sales environment (bids/RFTs/RFQs) under ASDEFCON frameworks.
• Applicant must be eligible to obtain NV1 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide tender input and develop end-to-end technical solutions for bid responses.
• Lead the design of satellite solutions and systems integration for International Government sales.
• Provide engineering support and mentoring to team members and deliver trainings.
