Job summary

SRA Information Technology is seeking a Senior SAP Infrastructure Engineer to lead SAP Basis administration across large enterprise landscapes and drive S/4HANA transformation initiatives. This hybrid contract role requires strong technical leadership and collaboration with project stakeholders.

You will participate in upgrades, migrations and platform modernisation, maintain system performance, and contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer for support teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior SAP Basis administration and engineering services across complex SAP environments.
• Support SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA platforms, including upgrades, migrations and modernisation activities.
• Manage SAP system performance, availability, transport management and operational support.
• Contribute to database migrations, technical conversions and platform transformation initiatives.
• Develop technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to support teams.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and project stakeholders to deliver platform outcomes.
• Participate in on-call and scheduled release activities when required.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Extensive SAP Basis administration experience within large enterprise environments.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA expertise.
• Experience delivering SAP upgrades, migrations, technical conversions and modernisation programs.
• Strong knowledge of SAP transport management, system monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting database migrations to SAP HANA.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and technical leadership capabilities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within government or highly regulated environments.
• Experience designing and supporting high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Experience supporting cloud-hosted or hybrid SAP environments.
• Experience contributing to large-scale ERP transformation programs.

Relevant Certifications

Relevant SAP certifications are highly desirable and should be included in your application, including:

• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP System Administration (SAP Basis)
• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP HANA
• Equivalent SAP technology certifications
