Job summary

Capgemini Australia is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our SAP community and collaborate with clients on innovative engagements across hyperscaler platforms and SAP RISE.

You will design, deploy and operate SAP landscapes on Azure, AWS and Google Cloud, with strong focus on S/4HANA, HANA, cloud technologies and security. Hybrid working offered with diverse projects and career development.

Your role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to work alongside a team of like-minded individuals within the SAP community and partner closely with our clients on a wide variety of collaborative and innovative engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, deploy and operate SAP landscapes across hyperscaler platforms and SAP RISE environments.
• Build and deployment of SAP systems on Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Performance tuning, monitoring and optimisation
• Transport management and release governance
• The role requires strong technical expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA and Basis administration, with experience delivering cloud-based SAP platforms on Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or Google Cloud.
• Experience with SAP Sovereign Cloud, regulated industry environments and large-scale transformation programmes is highly desirable.

• Strong SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA platform deployment experience.
• SAP RISE implementation and operations experience.
• SAP landscape design, installation, configuration and upgrades experience.
• SAP system refreshes, migrations and homogeneous/heterogeneous system copies
• SAP Cloud ALM.
• SAP Web Dispatcher, SAP Router and connectivity services
• High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) design and testing
• SAP security, certificates, encryption and compliance controls
• Technical leadership across project delivery and operational support teams
• Experience working with offshore and distributed delivery teams

Highly Desirable

• SAP Sovereign Cloud experience
• Experience supporting Australian Government, Defence or regulated industry environments
• SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) exposure
• SAP BW/4HANA, Analytics and Data Management platforms
• Azure, AWS or GCP certifications
• Experience delivering SAP workloads under IRAP, ISM or other security frameworks
