Job summary

DXC Technology seeks an SAP Developer to design, implement, and support SAP-based solutions across modules, including FI/CO, PRC, SCM and HCM. You will craft ABAP programs, Fiori apps, and integrations, collaborating with functional and technical teams to meet business requirements.

The role involves CDS views, SAPUI5, OData services, and S/4HANA deployment, with a focus on quality, performance, and governance. Security clearance (NV1) is required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in SAP development with CDS Views.
• Expertise in ABAP OO development.
• End-to-end SAP Fiori and RAP-based development (excluding BTP).
• Fiori configuration including Launchpad catalogues.
• Hands-on SAPUI5 and OData services.
• Solid experience in S/4HANA development and HANA concepts.
• Hands-on with SAP integration technologies (IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, APIs).
• Familiarity with SAP Gateway and SAP BTP preferred.
• Working knowledge of Java.
• Knowledge of SAP Workflow concepts and development.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP solutions and custom enhancements.
• Develop and maintain SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, forms, and workflows.
• Create and support SAP integrations with internal and external systems using APIs, IDocs, RFCs, OData services, and middleware platforms.
• Develop SAP Fiori applications and SAPUI5 solutions to enhance user experience.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of SAP applications.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, and optimization projects.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to develop and enhance SAP modules such as FI/CO, PRC, SCM and HCM.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system validation activities.
• Prepare technical documentation, development standards, and user guides.
• Provide production support and resolve system incidents within agreed service levels.
• Ensure compliance with SAP development best practices, security standards, and governance requirements.

THE ROLE

We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP Developer to design, develop, implement, and support SAP-based solutions that meet business requirements. The successful candidate will work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and technical teams to develop high-quality SAP applications, integrations, enhancements, and reports across various SAP modules.

NV1 security clearance is required for this role.

The role can be based in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney, or Perth

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ABOUT YOU

• Strong experience in SAP development, with a deep understanding of Core Data Services (CDS) Views.
• Strong expertise in SAP ABAP development, including Object‑Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP).
• Extensive hands‑on experience with end‑to‑end SAP Fiori and RAP‑based development, excluding BTP.
• Extensive knowledge of SAP Fiori configuration, including Fiori Launchpad catalogues.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SAPUI5 and OData services.
• Solid experience in SAP S/4HANA developmentand HANA database concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP integration technologies, including IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and APIs.
• Familiarity with SAP Gatewayand SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Java.
• Good understanding of SAP Workflowconcepts and development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• SAP certification in ABAP, S/4HANA, or SAP BTP.
• CRM CASE, Workflow, Fiori Development (ABAP backend Fiori) or Adobe
• Experience with AMDP, and HANA-based development.
• Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, and SAP Solution Manager methodologies.
• Experience in cloud-based SAP environments and SAP BTP extensions.
• Understanding of data migration and system integration approaches.
