Job summary

ASX is seeking a skilled Salesforce Developer to join our Digital and Enterprise Technology team in Australia. You will design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Financial Services Cloud while driving data integrity and security.

You will work on integration with external systems, implement Copado pipelines, and contribute to agile delivery with cross-functional squads.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Financial Services Cloud.
• Proficient in Apex, SOQL/SOSL, LWC and Java; expert in Salesforce DX and agile delivery.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform capabilities.
• Familiar with integration patterns using REST API, Java API, Streaming API and ESB.
• Experience with DevOps, Copado and GitLab.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Data 360 data streaming and identity resolution.
• Solid understanding of security model: profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, field-level security, org-wide defaults.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical designs and communicate with stakeholders.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Financial Services Cloud and Data 360.
• Develop on Apex, LWC, VisualForce, Omni Studio and SOQL/SOSL.
• Drive digital transformation and enhance customer‑facing features on the core platform.
• Implement Copado pipelines for version control, CI/CD, automated testing and release governance.
• Enforce data governance: access controls, data classification and lineage documentation.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs and middleware.
• Contribute to solution design, estimation and backlog prioritisation within SCRUM delivery squads.
• Support performance tuning, governor limit management and platform health monitoring.
