Job summary

Suncorp is seeking a Salesforce Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions across Insurance and Enterprise Technology. You will build robust applications, integrations and automation to support business objectives while mentoring team members and contributing to future-ready platform capabilities.

The role focuses on security, reliability and performance, with partnership across business, platform, security, architecture and delivery teams.

Qualifications

Five+ years of hands-on Salesforce development and two years of admin experience.
Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I; Platform II or Architect is a plus.
Experience implementing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud.

Responsibilities

Design scalable Salesforce solutions by translating business requirements into technical designs and architecture.
Build, test and deploy applications and integrations using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce and declarative tools.
Improve platform performance, security and maintainability through automation, monitoring and sound engineering practices.
Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, middleware and event-driven architecture.
Deliver controlled releases through automated testing, code reviews, version control and CI/CD practices.
Mentor developers and contribute reusable components, technical documentation and engineering standards.
