Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a Senior Salesforce Engineer in Sydney to lead the technical design and delivery of a Salesforce-based digital platform as part of a multi-year Modernisation Program.

You will design and implement Salesforce solutions, data migrations and integrations, mentor juniors, and collaborate with product, architecture and business stakeholders in a hybrid, 11-month contract with a daily rate of AUD 1,000–1,200 plus super.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, Apex and LWC.
• Experience delivering Salesforce platforms or app builds.
• Understanding of Salesforce limits, performance and security.
• Experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and customer portals.
• Design integrations using APIs and standard patterns.
• Exposure to MuleSoft or similar integration platforms.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps, source-driven development and CI/CD.
• Understanding of Public Sector Solutions (PSS) and regulated environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Salesforce applications, data models and integrations.
• Build and enhance solutions using Apex and LWC.
• Work across Salesforce Service Cloud and customer-facing portals.
• Design and implement integrations using Salesforce APIs and patterns.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and solution planning.
• Develop, test and deploy high-quality software with DevOps practices.
• Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot defects.
• Support data migration, go-live and decommissioning of legacy systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, BAs and architects.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement.
