Job summary

CQUniversity's People and Culture Directorate is seeking a Senior Safety and Wellbeing Adviser for Rockhampton. You will provide expert safety, health, and wellbeing guidance to management, staff and students and support risk management, audits, inspections and incident investigations.

You will contribute to the Safety Management System, advise on workers’ compensation and rehabilitation, and develop and deliver safety training, building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of contemporary industry practices and ability to interpret legislation and policies.
• Extensive expertise in risk management frameworks and their practical implementation.
• Significant experience providing high-level practical health, safety and psychosocial advice.
• Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities
