The Department of Transport and Planning (Victoria) invites applications for a Senior Safety Advisor in the Network Operations Division, Melbourne. You will lead safety improvements, provide expert guidance on HS&W frameworks and build a proactive safety culture across field teams.

Responsibilities include audits, compliance, data analysis and coaching managers in incident investigations and safety practices, in collaboration with divisions and frontline staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma in WHS is mandatory.
• ICAM qualifications or demonstrable experience are mandatory.
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Lead safety improvements and strengthen health and safety capability.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure standards.
• Support legal compliance and risk management through data analysis and evidence-based solutions.
• Coach managers in incident investigation, corrective actions and safety practices; collaborate with divisions and field staff.
