Job summary

Toll Group, with Toll Uncrewed Systems in Brendale, Queensland, seeks a Grade 2 Instructor and Operational Pilot to manage and deliver RPAS operations and training across clients and projects. The role involves onsite activities in Brisbane with some cross-site collaboration and emergency support.

You will develop courseware, mentor staff, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while supporting BVLOS, infrastructure inspections, and emergency services missions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in UAS/RPAS operations including as a commercial RPAS pilot.
• Experience delivering aviation, RPAS or technical training programs in an operational environment.
• Proven ability to mentor operational personnel to competency standards.
• Experience with regulatory aviation requirements and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality RPAS training and assessment to clients and agencies.
• Develop and maintain training materials and courseware.
• Support operational RPAS missions including night ops and call-outs.
• Contribute to mission planning, documentation, and safe execution.
• Maintain strong client relationships and identify training solutions.
