Job summary

DOF is seeking an ROV Technical Support Lead in Perth, WA, to join our global offshore energy team. The role focuses on onshore and remote technical support for ROV operations, with duties spanning from equipment selection to mobilisation planning to ensure safe and reliable project delivery.

Candidates should bring IMCA ROV Supervisor qualifications, hands-on ROV systems experience, and strong leadership and HSEQ commitment.

Qualifications

• Trade or tertiary qualification in mechanical or electrical fields.
• IMCA qualification as ROV Supervisor or equivalent.
• Proven experience working with ROV systems, electronics & interfacing.
• Team leadership experience.
• Extensive experience in testing, troubleshooting & diagnostics.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Solid understanding of HSEQ principles and safety culture.
• Aligned with values: Respect, Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence and Safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide onshore and remote technical support to ROV operations and offshore personnel.
• Support project execution including vessel mobilisations, yard activities and audits.
• Troubleshoot, configure and resolve technical issues related to ROVs.
• Coordinate with offshore teams to maintain operational continuity and minimise downtime.
• Liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers and internal departments to support operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency.
