Job summary

Imitation Machines is seeking Robot Software Systems Engineers who thrive at the intersection of robotics systems and software architecture. You will bridge research-grade algorithms and production robotics, working with ROS ecosystems and core planning, perception, and control packages.

Your work spans integration layers between learning algorithms and robot hardware, building simulation and testing frameworks, and developing backend services for robotics workflows.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of robotics software / control algorithms.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2.
• Strong intuition of good code and software architecture.
• Experience with robotics simulators MuJoCo, Isaac Sim, Gazebo.
• Efficient code development and deployment practices.
• Self-driven builder mentality – experimentation and innovation.
