Job summary

Anduril Industries in Abu Dhabi (UAE) seeks a Senior Robotics Software Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software connecting autonomous platforms with mission payloads and SMS systems. You will architect APIs and data transport layers, enabling reliable communication between vehicles, payloads, and ground stations in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as CS, SE, CE, or Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of production software development experience in C++ and/or Rust.
• Experience with networking software and hardware interfaces.
• Proven API/ICD design experience using HTTP, REST, or gRPC.
• Knowledge of UDP/TCP data transport and low-latency systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable networked software interacting with devices and networks.
• Design interfaces with SMS and payload subsystems for release control.
• Architect APIs and ICDs to connect vehicles, payloads and ground systems.
• Build low-latency data transport over UDP/TCP.
• Write code interfacing hardware with higher-level autonomy software.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, vehicle and payload teams.
• Travel up to 25% to test, debug and deploy systems.
• Contribute across prototyping, implementation, testing and deployment.
• Troubleshoot deployed systems to ensure reliability.
